Enjoy a discount on us!

Hello everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the changing seasons. Much of Colorado got hit with a big snow storm this last week. Oddly enough, we got no snow at all! It's funny how that works. Mountain Spirit Winery is located over two thousand feet higher than Denver, but they get the two feet of snow and we get nothing.

Many of our 2007 wines are quietly at work in their tanks. It's always an exciting time when our wines are young and vulnerable. They keep us on our toes, making sure nothing goes wrong during these crucial moments.

On a different note, Terry and I are hoping that more people will begin visiting this blog and taking part in Mountain Spirit Winery's online community. In order to kick start things, we're offering the first twenty-five people who leave us a comment on our blog (just click on the word "comment" below) a 15% discount on their first 11 bottles of wine ordered from the winery and a 20% discount for additional bottles. Just call the winery at 1-888-MSWINES and mention the coupon code "ANGEL BLUSH 2" to receive your discount. This is a limited time offer, so leave us a comment and tell us about your favorite wines!

Incidentally, this discount is the same discount available to our Angel Club members. If you want additional information about our Angel Club, click on this link: www.mountainspiritwinery.com/wine_club.htm
You'll find ways to have our latest wines shipped to you regularly at the discounts listed above as well as being included in our Mountain Spirit Winery community.

Peace and love to you all.

Filling the press

Here's a shot of me working with our press. Those grapes are already in their tanks by now.

Mountain Spirit Winery's Duet Honored Again!

Exciting news, everyone!

Our Duet (Viognier/Chardonnay Blend) recently graced the table at the Governor’s Mansion for a unique State Dinner honoring the President of Ireland, Mary McAleese. We received glowing letters of appreciation, both from Governor Owens, and from the Colorado Director of International Trade, complimenting our blend and remarking about the “many comments about how wonderful” the wine was.

It was this same blend that had been selected by the famous Washington D. C. “Charlie Palmer Steak” (http://www.charliepalmer.com/steak_dc/home.html) to represent the State of Colorado in their wine exhibition. It is still my favorite white wine, and if you haven't experienced it yet, you are definitely missing out! Get on over to the website and order yourself up a bottle.

Don't forget to leave us a comment by clicking on the word "comment" below. We can't wait to hear from all of our friends out there, and we're just so excited at being able to keep everyone involved in our community here at Mountain Spirit Winery. Each of you is special to us and we truly value your comments, suggestions, and kind words.

Take care, and share that wine!

Hello and Welcome!

Hello everyone! We're very excited at this, our very first blog posting! This whole blog business is so new to us, but we really feel it will be an exciting way for all of us to stay connected and share the joy Terry and I feel as we make the wines of Mountain Spirit Winery.

Whether you've visited us and enjoyed our wines in the winery or stopped by our gallery and tasted our wines before enjoying a meal at the Twisted Cork next door, we're glad you've decided to visit us out here in cyberspace. I hope to be able to bring you news of all the significant happenings that always seem to keep us hopping here at the winery. Once I get a little used to this blogging format, I want to post images of Terry and me as we make our wine and generally stay busy at the winery. This year's crush has already happened, but there's always action to be found amongst the tanks and usually we've got different wine events worth noting. Besides that, the scenery around here in the winter is just too beautiful to not share with you.

So, again, thanks for coming by. Check back often as I hope to bring you news and updates on what's happening here at Mountain Spirit Winery. If you have any questions for us, feel free to leave us a comment by clicking on "comment" below.

And for this posting, we're hoping you might tell us a little about your favorite Mountain Spirit Wine. Terry and I both have our favorites, but it always makes us smile when we hear about yours. Take care and enjoy that wine!
